Competition Rules
  
1. Description and duration of the competition
The Skechers competition is organized by the Chaussures Pop & Go Sport stores. The competition will run until September 22, 2024 (11:59 a.m. EDT). 
 
2. Eligibility
Only people who meet the following conditions can participate in the competition:

• Residing in Quebec, New Brunswick or Ontario.
• Be aged 18 and over.
• Subscribe to our newsletter. 

Members of the staff of the Chaussures Pop company, as well as those of their service providers, agencies or consultants, are excluded from any participation in the competition. The person for whose benefit an advertising competition is held, his employee, his representative, his agent or a member of the jury and the persons with whom they are domiciled cannot participate in this competition. 
 
3. Participation

• To participate in the competition, the eligible person must meet the following conditions:
  • You must purchase a Skechers product from September 3 to 22, 2024 at a Chaussures Pop or Go Sport store.

4. Your Sunwing price includes
• Round-trip air transportation, in economy class, for two (2) people, including two (2) adults (one of whom must
be the winner) from any available Canadian airport to Cancún, Mexico on a flight operated by
Sunwing Airlines;
• 7 (seven) nights in a standard room at the Riu Palace Mexico in double occupancy;
• All-inclusive meal plan at Riu Palace Mexico;
• Ground transfers between the airport and the hotel at destination;
• 1 checked bag per person;
• Relative taxes and fees applicable before departure.

5. What's not included in your Sunwing price
• Any ground transportation not expressly stated above (including, but not limited to, transportation between
the airport and accommodation of the winner or that of your traveling companion);
• Taxes (including, but not limited to, destination departure taxes, tourist taxes, or taxes
applicable local);
• Insurance (including, but not limited to, travel, medical and cancellation insurance);
• Connecting flights (including the return flight to the city of departure, if you do not live near an airport served
par Sunwing Airlines);
• Excursions, tourist visits and any other activity at the destination;
• Fees and supplements relating to travel;
• Excess baggage charges;
• Costs associated with obtaining travel documents (including, but not limited to, passports and visas);
• Costs associated with obtaining the necessary vaccines;
• Personal items;
• Additional meals;
• Room upgrades;
• Service charges and tips;
• Movies in the room;
• Seat selection.

6. Limitation, Rules and Regulations
• The winner must accept this Prize as is or it will be forfeited.
• Prize must be claimed and travel completed by September 23, 2025 (the “Travel Period”).
• The trip is subject to availability and the request must be made at least four (4) weeks before the date of
departure requested.
• Embargo dates apply: November 23 to December 1, 2024; from December 24, 2024 to January 2, 2025; from 18
as of January 26, 2025; from February 15 to 23, 2025; from April 16 to 22, 2025; from May 24 to June 1, 2025; from June 28 to July 5
2025; from November 22 to 29, 2025. Subject to availability.
• If the winner is unable to travel during the Travel Period, he or she will forfeit the prize and it will be given to another person
at the sole discretion of Sunwing.
• Travel arrangements and reservations in connection with the flight must be made according to the instructions given to the
winner of the Prize. Once reservations are made, they cannot be changed.
• Sunwing Airlines does not offer year-round flights from many Canadian airports. Since Sunwing
Airlines may have stopped providing service from the airport closest to the winner's residence for the season and
that there are therefore no flights offered there during the dates they have submitted, it is the responsibility of the winner of the
prize to travel to the nearest Canadian airport from which Sunwing offers flights during the dates the prize winner has
data.
• All reservations are subject to the terms and conditions listed in the Sunwing brochure or on the website
from Sunwing at www.sunwing.ca.
• Please note that vouchers and onward travel credits do not apply to promotional bookings. Only the
Credit card and gift card payments are accepted.
• Winner must travel with their travel companion, on the same itinerary and from the same approved departure city
by Sunwing. The prize winner and his/her travel companion must hold a valid passport and other travel documents.

• Prize elements (including but not limited to flight and accommodation) cannot be exchanged for
miles for frequent flyers or for any other loyalty program.
• You and your traveling companion must comply with all applicable laws, including, but not limited to, laws
local to destination
Sunwing reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute or modify the prize, or any portion thereof, for another prize
of equal or greater value, for any reason.

Please note that you will need to provide a copy of a valid photo ID card and a copy of your award letter
to make your reservation. Please allow 5 business days to receive a response to your request.
 
7. Awarding of prizes
The winners will be determined by a random draw from all eligible entries. This draw will take place on October 7, 2024 at noon (EDT), at the Chaussures Pop premises in Deschaillons, Quebec.

The chances of an entrant's name being drawn at random depend on the number of eligible entries received.
 
8. Publication of the winner’s name
The winners will be informed directly by email within 3 days of the draw. Their names and city could be announced on the Chaussures Pop and Go Sport Facebook pages.
 
9. Property
Participation coupons completed by participants are the property of the competition organizers and will under no circumstances be returned to participants.

10. General conditions
For the selected person to be declared a winner, the following conditions must be met:

• A Chaussures Pop representative will contact the selected person by email within 3 days following the draw. The winner must be contacted within 48 hours, failing which the winner will lose their right to the prize. The prize will then be awarded to the next person, whose name has been drawn at random, and the same procedure will be followed until the winner has been chosen. The method of prize delivery will be decided with the winner by telephone or email.
• The competition organizers will send the winner, by email or telephone, information on how to take possession of their prize. If the selected person refuses to receive their prize, they may transfer it in full only to a person of their choice.
• A liability waiver must be completed by each winner before collecting their prize.
• Failing to comply with one of the conditions mentioned above or any other condition mentioned in these rules, the selected person will be disqualified and a new draw for this prize will be carried out in accordance with these participation rules. The same conditions will then remain applicable, making the necessary adaptations, if necessary.

 
11. Verification
The registration forms are subject to verification by the competition organizers. Any entry that is, as the case may be, incomplete, inaccurate, reproduced by hand or mechanically, fraudulent, obtained from an unauthorized source, submitted or transmitted late, accompanied by an invalid email address or otherwise non-compliant, may be rejected and will not entitle you, as the case may be, to registration or to the prize.
 
12. Disqualification
The contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify a person or cancel a person's registration if they participate or attempt to participate in this contest using a means contrary to these rules or likely to be unfair to others. participants. 13. Competition procedure

14. Replacement and number of prizes
If it is impossible to provide the prize, Chaussures Pop or Go Sport reserves the right to replace it, in whole or in part, with another prize of approximately equivalent value. People residing in the same place cannot participate. 
 
15. Price Limit
In any case, the competition organizers cannot be required to award more prizes or to award a prize other than in accordance with these regulations.
 
16. Acceptance of the price
The prize must be accepted as is and may be, only in full, transferred to another person.
 
17. Limit of liability: operation of the competition

21. Modification of the competition

The personal information collected about participants as part of the competition may be used for communication purposes, commercial or otherwise, by the company Chaussures Pop.
Completing the form constitutes consent on the part of the participants.
 
25. Decision of the competition organizers
Any decision of the contest organizers or their representatives relating to this contest is final and without appeal, subject to any decision of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec on any matter falling within its jurisdiction.
 
26. Dispute
For residents of Quebec, a dispute regarding the organization or conduct of a promotional contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a decision. A dispute regarding the awarding of the prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purposes of intervention to attempt to resolve it.
 
27. Severability of Paragraphs
If any paragraph of these rules is declared or found to be illegal, unenforceable or void by a court of competent jurisdiction, then that paragraph will be deemed void, but all other paragraphs which are not affected will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law.
 
28. Regulations
These rules are available in French via a URL link which will be mentioned during competition publications on the Chaussures Pop and Go Sport Facebook pages. 
  
29. In the event of a discrepancy between the French version and the English version of the regulations, the French version will prevail.
 
30. This contest is subject to all applicable laws.
